You are  in a First Floor apartment  and the guy who lives below you,  is watering the lawn.  He  is adjusting the water pressure,  but cannot get it quite right.  There are two parameters here,  one is the  water sprinkler  loop  diameter,  and another  is the  water sprinkler loop pitch,   ie.  the   vertical spacing between each  sprinkler loop.  Both are adjustable via the water pressure, and this  effects,  precisely  how far each water loop  is,  in relation  to the loop  in front and the  loop  behind.   By gently  adjusting  the pressure  in sequence,  our guy  can control the loop diameter,  and   the distance between each  loop.

 He turns the pressure   up   high  fairly rapidly.   Looking out of your window,   as he turns the pressure up,   you observer  the spinning contrails  of the water   surging,   and there appears   ( there is  )  to be a deal  more water about .  The  loops  have  move d  closer together,  and surge upwards.  (the Loop Max )  Our  guy  then   slowly  re-adjusts  the pressure.   Now the outcoming    loops are   rising  much more slowly,  and this permits  the earlier  loops  to speed away from the later loops.

The Solar Core  jets  below the escape velocity  of the core,   and   the jet efflux  core material and fuzing plasma   cannot escape the gravity of the core.   Therefore it falls back to the core, and is   " recycled".

However  the mass of the core fluctuates.   This    sequence of    "pressure surge"  pressure fall "  imprints itself, on  loop pitch changes.   This  usually occurs   in an  11 year cycle or may be a factor of  a  22 year  or even a 999 year cycle.   So the core pressure, and the Jet  Vector Component  ie how high the Jet Jets   varies,  and surges, and falls  in 11 year cycles. 

Every 11 years,  a cluster of   jetted loops   with closed up pitches, surfaces  together. This is the Solar Max.

Then  11 years later  a  cluster of  "wide pitch"   loops   surface  causing    the Solar Minimum.
