BALTIMORE, July 7 /PRNewswire/ --

Physicians Practice, America's Leading Practice Management Journal today announced the promotions of Pamela L. Moore, Ph.D to editorial director, Steven Gottshall to associate publisher, and Eric Temple-Morris to associate publisher. The promotions are reflective of the company's overall strategy for the continued growth of brand awareness, expansion into new physician focused markets and circulation growth.

Pamela L. Moore, Ph.D, formerly senior editor of practice management, who sets the editorial direction and is a widely recognized speaker at industry events, led the establishment of the Physicians Practice Annual Fee Schedule survey. The survey helps physicians negotiate fees with payers, and PayerView, which practices use to evaluate which payers they should be participating with in their practices.

"Pamela Moore is America's leading expert on helping U.S. office-based physicians improve their practices and their lives, said Kenneth Karpay, vice-president and group publisher of Physicians Practice. "This is demonstrated by her award-winning columns, articles, as well as the extensive dialogue Pam has with physicians and other providers."

Steven Gottshall, formerly director of hospital strategies, brings over ten years of experience in hospital marketing to his new position. At Physicians Practice, Gottshall has successfully managed the hospital program by maintaining strong relationships with major academic, community, specialty, and faith-based hospitals and hospital systems across the US, in addition to expanding the program into new markets.

"The long-standing commitment of Steven and his team of hospital consultants, as demonstrated by the wide variety of hospital clients, by the diversity of geography, type and size is unparalleled in the health care industry," said Karpay.

Eric Temple-Morris, formerly director of business advertising strategies, has 15 years experience in the media/publishing industry. He currently leads the business development team that includes both B2B and pharmaceutical advertising.

"The highly consultative approach that Eric and his team take to helping clients understand the physician marketplace and to making smart marketing investments helps Physicians Practice maintain its position as the largest recipient of business-to-business advertising year-after-year," Karpay explained.
