Specialists of companies «Trade Club» Ltd and «Sinkopa-K» Ltd Sevastopol, own technology of «Utilization tritium of containing liquid radio-active wastes » based on application of sorbents « Sinkopa».
Verification of method of utilization tritium of containing liquid radio-active wastes by sorbents «Sinkopa» was conducted in August, 2009 in the isotopic laboratory of Department of radiation and chemical biology of Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas (IBSS - www.ibss.org.ua) of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. As a result of work it is shown, that application of this sorbent allows to reduce specific radio-activity of tritium in water solutions more than in 70 times (from 960 717 Bk/l to 12 948 Bk/l).

The basic differences of technology:
• - minimum power expenses (there is no evaporation, room temperature, standard atmosphere pressure);
• - simplicity of technology at which tritium accumulates in hard sediment;
• - diminishing of volume of hard radio-active wastes in relation to initial liquid radio-active wastes in 100-150 time.
• - transformation of a hard sediment to the geocement stone (speed of lixiviating is slower in 100 times, what at glassblock) under normal conditions.
From the point of view of economy decrease expenses on:
• - utilization tritium of containing liquid radio-active wastes with translation of him in hard radio-active wastes and diminishing of volumes in 100-150 time.
• - transportation and storage of hard radio-active wastes;
• - preservation of ecology of environment.
The Practical experience, got in June, 1994 during working in the Nikolaevskom aluminous factory on liquidation of emergency contamination of fire-reservoir a caesium-137 with the use of sorbent «Sinkopa» (volume of the deactivated water of 400 cubic metres),and also results stated above experimental researches in Department of radiation and chemical biology of IBSS of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, allow to draw conclusion that for introduction in the industrial volumes of this method of utilization tritium of containing liquid radio-active wastes, carrying out of laboratory experiment is needed with the standard of industrial wastes, containing except for tritium, radioactive nuclides of strontium, caesium, cobalt.
Further, for the completion of technology it is necessary to produce cleaning industrial tritium of containing liquid radio-active wastes in place of their storage in volumes 3-5 cubic metres.

A presence of industrial stocks of sorbent is «Sinkopa», possibility of its reproduction, simplicity of technology at which tritium accumulates in hard sediment, and also diminishing of volume of hard radio-active wastes, in relation to initial liquid radio-active wastes in 100-150 times - deserves the special attention and confirms perspective of introduction of this technology.
