Population is increasing in third world. Resources are decreasing in third world. Same amount of land, water, food, and clothing and shelter has to be shared by greater number of persons. More people means more garbage human waste, solid waste. Advancing civilizations need more energy, use of packed materials in throw away plastic dishes, glasses and plates? Freedom means to litter every place on the earth available and pollute every drop of water at local level to meet the human needs.
The other day meet at Jaipur suggested that Rajasthan has water reservoirs for to meet the need for another 10 to 15 years. Some time ago there was cry for fluoride causing bone damage in Rajasthan or Arsenic in wells of W. Bengal.
If pollution levels at local levels can’t be checked how global control is possible?
It essential to check the pollution levels reduce solid waste, prevent flow of municipal waste in holy rivers, prevent immersing of deities in the local ponds. This is duty of every citizen in every country. But who is going to tell them. My father used to educate me on environmental matters all the time. Plates were made from leaves and glass from mud. Now it’s all gone.
There is time to make changes at local level and it will make difference at global level?
