God's Big Bang Theory

God is the origin of life. He created earth, man, and all the inhabitants of earth.

There is much argument made about the origin of life and where, how and when the earth was created. The argument is between two main parties the scientist and the “religious” or, as I like to call myself, Jesus Freaks. The scientific side states that everything happened by chance and just happened. As opposed to the argument of the Jesus Freaks who say that God was the one who indeed created the world and everything in it. I, being a Jesus Freak, believe the latter with all my heart, mind and soul.

The scientists have a long history of brilliant men and women devoting their whole life to this topic and solving the so called mystery of life and where it came from. The basis of their argument is so complicated and complex that it can be condensed into one word- chance. I was in my biology class the other day and was watching a video on the origin of life. The oh so magnificent Carl Sagan spoke on the origin of all living things saying how the world, we know as earth today, was just a collection of Hydrogen gases that spontaneously combined and bond together to form the earliest stages of life moving on from there to evolve what we are today. Now as he was saying this I had to hold myself from bursting into laughter. I mean this guy is so darn smart and he believes this! Let me tell you this, life did not just pop up because of chance and “spontaneous” activity. Sagan consistently uses the words spontaneous, by accident, and in one situation he said that nature “stumbled” upon it. I think he couldn’t think of anymore words or phrases to say that the events just happened so he just started repeating himself. There is no possible way; no matter how much time the earth has, that we were made up simply by chance. There had to be some kind of divine intervention that helped in the process that the scientists refuse to believe.

There are many flaws to the scientist’s argument. For example, they tried to “re-create” the primitive earth and see what would happen if they gave it the energy sources that were only found on the earth at that time (sun, and lightning ) well they were successful in creating nothing but the “stuff of life”. These are the ingredients for a living organism, but ingredients are only ingredients if not put together by a chef. The chef in this case is God, putting together the “stuff of life” and therefore creating life as we know it today.

I know that God created the heavens and the earth, and he did it in six days. The issue is scientists refuse to believe it because it can’t be proven. That’s the principle of science, CAN IT BE PROVEN. What the scientists fail to realize is that faith can’t be proven, it can only be lived. Once a person experiences God and hears his voice, sees his glory, and lives in his favor, then and only then will a person, such as a scientist, no longer seek proof. Yea I believe in the big bang theory…God said BANG and life was made.
