There's a site called the blog readability test. It basically tells you what level of education you need to read a site and generally, it claims, how smart your readers are.

This is the bad news for us:

However, putting scienceblogs.com in gets:

Which means they are appealing to a much larger audience than we are.

So try to dumb it down a little, people.
