In case you didn't know it, Michael Jackson died recently and speculation is that the volume of his recorded material is so great that we could be awash in "never before released" songs as soon as it's tasteful.

We have the same issue here.   The backlog of good stuff to write about is so great that should I ever expire early, my half-finished articles would keep you all in half entertainment for years (bonus: and there is a company insurance policy, so even the server bills would be paid virtually forever.    It will be like Wall-E, except for science blogging) but sometimes writers do things that are outside the core timeline of events.    Especially if it happens spnntaneously, and one of those was this walking tour of New York with Paul Hoffman.

Now, you may not know Paul Hoffman unless you are in media.   But he's been at this a long time.
