Reading level of science blogs - what Google thinks

On his Reference Frame site, contrarian physicist Luboš Motl uses Google to determine the 'reading level' of some science blogs, with, he says, "Basic" being 1 star, "intermediate" 3 stars and "advanced"  counted by having 5 stars.

Based on the results, there would seem to be an inverse correlation between hard science content and popularity. His diagram shows that the uber-popular P.Z. Myers of Pharyngula fame comes in at 2.02, right near Phil Plait at Bad Astronomy, Wired Science is just about in the middle at 3.143 and Quantum Diaries here at Science 2.0 is 4.31.

Perhaps Tommaso needs more posts comparing Berlusconi to porn stars to get in the big leagues?

Why did he put God at the top and bullsh*t at the bottom?  The mysterious ways of Luboš Motl are many and varied.

Being advanced just for the sake of being advanced is not the goal, of course, and I think Tommaso does an excellent job of not pulling any punches technically but also getting the message out in a creative and straightforward fashion.    Starts With A Bang is also on my blogroll and I think is both technical and well-written also, but isn't on Motl's list and is instead replaced by other clearly cultural bloggers claiming to be science blogs.
