W. Glen Pyle
W. Glen Pyle, PhD is a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph and an
Associate Member of the IMPART Team Canada Investigator Network at Dalhousie Medicine. He is also the co-Lead for COVID-19 Resources Canada's "Science Explained" initiative.
His research program is focused on the molecular basis of heart failure, including the development of novel therapies and the identification of sex differences. He holds a Senior Career Investigator Award in Improving Heart and Brain Health for Women from the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and Health Canada, and is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
