Camilo Tabinas

He is both a chemist and an educator. He teaches General chemistry, organic, and biochemistry for health sciences students as well as introductory chemistry courses for non- chemistry majors. He graduated his B.Sc in Chemistry at the University of San Carlos. He has a master's degree in education major in chemistry and completed his Ph.D. in Education major in Research and Evaluation . His dissertation deals on teaching and learning processes for enhanced instructional design. For better opportunity, he decided to leave University of San Carlos to work as faculty of Mathematics and Science Department, Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) in Leyte, Philippines. Here, he became the Head of the Curriculum Planning Office and a Program Chair at the College of Advance Education (Grad School).

Dr. Tabinas is a member of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP),Integrated Chemists of the Philippines (ICP), Kapisanang Kimika ng Pilipinas ( Chemical Society of the Philippines) and Philippine Association of Chemistry Teachers.
Dr. Tabinas is the author of the book " Developing a Learning Styles-Based Education" and Literacy on Inorganic Nomenclature: A Modular Approach."
