LONDON, June 17 /PRNewswire/ --

Strike action is a last resort for our members. All they are asking for is a fair return for their constant hard work and a pay offer that reflects the rise in the cost of living.

Our members will now be on a continuous overtime ban until this issue is resolved and will be going out on strike action on Friday."

Notes to editors:

Members will be on the picket line out side EIS head office, Murray Place, Edinburgh from 8am on Friday 20th June.

Tony Trench will also be there and will be available for interview.
