"जयपुर। लगातार बढ रहे तापमान से प्रदेश भट्टी की तरह तपने लगा है। शनिवार इस मौसम का सबसे गर्म दिन रहा। कई स्थानों पर प्रचण्ड लू के हालात रहे। उत्तर-पश्चिमी राजस्थान में अघिकांश स्थानों पर तापमान 47 डिग्री से ऊपर रहा। फलौदी में तापमान 49.1 और श्रीगंगानगर में 48.9 डिग्री दर्ज किया गया। प्रदेश में शनिवार को तापमान 45 से 49 डिग्री रहा। कोटा, जोधपुर में 46 और अलवर, बाडमेर, चूरू
में पारा 48 डिग्री के पार रहा। अगले 24 घण्टों में भी ऎसे ही हालात रहेंगे।
माउण्ट आबू ने तापमान के मामले में नया रिकॉर्ड बना डाला। यहां शनिवार 40.4 डिग्री तापमान रहा जो अब तक का सर्वाघिक है। जैसलमेर में 1956 के बाद ऎसी गर्मी पडी है।"

Let me explain Mount Abu is hill station of Rajasthan. It used to be surrounded by several districts having dense vegetation . However people started cutting trees and selling them Precious wood was sold for peanuts by poor people. Once the hills become barren the soil is washed away in rains. Once fragile ecosystem is lost the hill station will become desert It will happen in next 30 years if not sooner that is my pure guess. Falodi is hottest spot and temperatures touching 49.1 degree and 48.9 degree in Shriganganagar which is food bowl for Rajasthan with canal systems brought by late Maharajas and Present Indira Gandhi Canal . Its poor planning of putting water in desert which has led to water seepage on one hand and farmers started growing crops like rice and cotton which are not fit for the area and have resulted in destruction of ecosystem.
Its very alarming situtation. Rajasthan in the map lies on the continuation of famous deserts of the world. People have seen their fate Will the people of Rajasthan wakeup and stop it going the same way as African or Arabian deserts. Please check out temperatues of Saudi Arabia and Rajasthan and tell me where the temperatues are higher. Is Rajasthan showing temperatures higher than Arabian deserts or African nations. I found it many times this is the case.
