For 20 years I have worked as a stunt scientist, creating stunts special-effects for movies, television shows and live events. I have created effects for movies with Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks and Whitney Houston. I also hosted a science special on the Discovery Channel, where I got to re-create and blow up the Hindenburg.

I am the author of The Secret Science Behind Movie Stunts and Special Effects. I perform a live assembly in schools called "Science in the Movies" wherein I use live stunts and effects to teach over 100 key science concept in exciting, vivid and memorable way that students never forget.

Last year I won the Time Warner Cable, "Most engaging science presenter of the year award." I run Stunt Ranch in Austin Texas, where we host amazing field trips for kids, called Stunt Science days. We also do the most exciting teacher professional development sessions in the world, and I keynote for science events internationally.
