Purushottam Dixit
I'm a doctoral student in Chemical Engineering at Johns Hopkins university. Most of my work is theoretical chemical physics with certain applications to biology. My scientific interests outside my research are foundations of statistical mechanics.
Other than that, I do love running, wines, coffee, music and reading. In my spare time I indulge myself in these!
My academic interests apart from science and mathematics are education, ethics, philosophy of science, feminism and gender studies.
My favorite authors include Oscar Wilde, Somerset Maugham, Graham Green, Kafka, Camus.
Musicians would be Mozart, Beethoven, Satie, Chopin and Tchaikovski.
Favorite people in the broadest sense of the word are Bertrand Russell, Gautam Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi; perhaps in that particular order!
