Joseph Perrone
Dr. Joseph Perrone is the Chief Science Officer for the Center for Accountability in Science, a nonprofit project dedicated to providing a balanced look at the science behind health and science news stories. He holds a Doctorate of Science from The Johns Hopkins University, Post-Doctoral fellowship at Harvard University, and his B.S. in Biology from the University of Delaware. Dr. Perrone has worked closely with many funding agencies and Ministries of Health to develop strategies for the use of diagnostics in public health programs and served as an advisor to the World Health Organization and served on the WHO Diagnostic Steering Committee.
