John Michael Williams

Amateur physicist with degrees in psychology from Columbia University, The University of Chicago, and Southern Illinois University (Ph. D.). Postdoctoral work in visual psychophysics at the University of Michigan.

Currently teaching occasionally at Silicon Valley Technical Institute: Subjects are electronic design-related languages such as verilog and tcl. Authored "Digital VLSI Design with Verilog, 2nd Ed." (Springer, 2014). Peer-reviewer for Applied Optics.

My favorite authors are Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein. I love listening to Mozart and J. S. Bach. My only active hobby is competitive target shooting (bullseye pistol).
