MD from NYU School of Medicine 1972. Medical training (Internal medicine) at NYU-Bellevue and Jacobi-Bronx Municipal NYC, rheumatology and IM boards (75 and 78) after Montefiore fellowship. Private practice 1977-1996. Joined American Council on Science and Health in 1998, became medical director, executive director, and (since our president Dr. Beth Whelan's passing 9/14) Acting President. I've written voluminously on many public health issues in popular media and ACSH's Dispatch. Also scholarly presentations at scientific conclaves.
