Chris started his scientific, agronomic journey during summers working on the maintenance staff at a local country club. Inspired by the science behind growing grass at such a technically difficult level, he pursued a degree in Turfgrass Science (Agronomy) from Penn State University and graduated in 1994. Since then, he founded Teed & Brown, Inc, has been published in 9 newspapers around the United States, appeared on television programs, produced YouTube videos and has written countless newsletters teaching agronomy principles to his clients. Chris lives in Bethel, CT with his wife Rachel and two sons.
