Catarina Amorim

After many years as a scientist (immunology) at Oxford University I moved into scientific journalism and public understanding of science.

I am still at Oxford Uni but now I write about any bio-related science (and some game theory), give classes to scientists on how to communicate with the general public and have fun creating untested (what also means often chaotic) science events for the public while running a project for the promotion of portuguese science (Financed by the Foundation for Science and Technology FCT, FSE III European Community/Quadro Comunitário de Apoio) .

Besides science, I am interested in things as diverse as literature, art, politics, animation and in particular social dynamics.
