Atreyee Bhattacharya

Hi, I am a graduate student at the department of Earth and Planetary Science at Harvard.

Into my 5th year now. I use a a novel technique that involves Noble gases, particularly Helium and its isotopes, as tools to understand our changing climate over the last 60 million years--starting with the impact event that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs and allowed mammals like us to walk around to droughts and famines which are affecting the very same human population as sea surface temperatures continue to rise in the 21st century.

In my spare time I like to cook, write short stories, take pictures and travel.
