Macrocilix Maia Has The Ultimate Camouflage- It Makes A Whole Mural

Alex Wild at Myrmecos has shared a picture from visiting scholar Antónia Monteiro - a simply unbelievable Malaysian moth. 

Mimicry is common in insects, they can adopt the cryptic appearance of leaves or the colors of poisonous butterflies. 

But Macrocilix maia is a first. This mimic insect paints an entire scene.
