Wash Your Hands, Organic Restaurants, And Quit Giving People Norovirus

Most of the country laughed when an expensive Los Angeles Times 'Foodie' event gave elites who paid up to $800 per ticket norovirus.

Norovirus is gastroentitis, a 'stomach flu', sometimes called food poisoning, except related to bad hygiene rather than spoiled products. You see it a lot on cruise ships because so many people are in such a small area and it can be hard to kill using hand sanitizer because the lack of a lipid envelope means environmental stability. It can easily be prevented, though.

Wash your hands, obviously after using the bathroom or before preparing food.

The Centers for Disease Control noted earlier this month that cases were the highest since 2012, which means pandemic-era hygiene is reverting back to the Obama years.

It happens a lot more in the organic/progressive/wellness community because they have shamanistic beliefs about food. They think if marketing gurus who dominate the National Organic Standards Board section of the USDA Marketing Service created by order of Commander-in-Woo Bill Clinton declare something "Organic" it must be safe, so they'll eat a carrot right out of the ground.

Not only is it not safe, the organic product is less safe than evidence-based agriculture.

Not just approved, it is the dominant chemical used in organic farming. Quantities needed are so high that California Democrats changed the law so that organic farmers no longer have the quantities they use itemized, they are just lumped in with more effective chemicals now. The last year California listed organic food separately organic-certified inputs were up to 600% more per calorie of food than science-based farming.

The reason you should clean food, especially organic food, despite myths about spread by celebrities who buy unpollinated corn (like actor Laura Prepon), is because of bacteria. Like E. coli, from that all-natural manure.

Television celebrities think unpollinated corn is good if they got it at an organic farmer's market. Don't be a celebrity when it comes to science. Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey and all the other progressives on the coast were wrong about vaccines and they are wrong about all other science as well.

The same lack of basic hygiene that causes norovirus. Paying more for food prepared by an organic chef doesn't mean the employees will be cleaner.

Now that kooky Democrats are joining the Trump administration, it is okay for liberals to stop defending their kooky progressive tribe-mates for political reasons. Embrace energy like natural gas and nuclear that helps poor people, not expensive placebos like solar that are subsidized with higher taxes on the poor. Keep food affordable, not sold using guilt to people who are told by epidemiologists their children will get worse grades in school if they don't buy from Big Organic, and don't go back to saying 'on the other hand' about risks of vaccines just because Obama believed they caused autism when he ran for president.
